Ignatius Piazza and
Preserving the Founding Fathers' Intention

The Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America is quite succinct, and quite explicit. The Second Amendment demands that the right for citizens to bear arms in order to form a militia, in the event that an armed overthrow of the government is necessary must never be infringed upon. There is a secondary reason for this, and one that the Founding Fathers most likely did not foresee quite as much. That reason is, of course, self defense. The more laws that are passed which take guns away from law-abiding citizens shift the power further into the hands of criminals who are already more than willing to break laws and commit crimes. Dr. Ignatius Piazza, founder and director of Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, has understood this particular facet of American life and Constitutional law for years. His program at Front Sight includes the finest in defensive and aggressive firearms training extant.

But that doesn't mean that Front Sight is training a militia or raising a horde of neo-NAZIs to raid D.C. Far from it; in fact, there are police officers in almost every single course offered at Front Sight. Note that that's not because the officers are investigating, the officers are attending because the training offered at Front Sight surpasses that available in their own districts! Front Sight has the best firearms training in the world, and it is taught in such a way that graduates of the courses have a control, understanding and responsibility that rivals, if not surpasses, that of police officers and most armed forces personnel.

Responsibility is the key word for Dr. Piazza and Front Sight. None of the education they offer is worth a dime if the men and women receiving it can't understand when, where and why to use what they've learned. If Front Sight offers anything to America, it is responsibility. Responsibility with firearms means safety with firearms, and safety with firearms means no armed violence.
